Magpie Interiors is a woman owned business that focuses on Interior Home/or Office Decorating with characteristics that describe you. I love to mix styles like rustic with classic or industrial and glam-chic to give you a design that compliments your lifestyle and interests

I believegood designextends beyond the physical elements of a space—good design shapes our lives, influences our behaviors and interactions, and has purpose. I strive to design spaces that are meaningful and functional for my clients.

My mission is to create beautiful, livable spaces that meet my clients’ aesthetic, functional, and economic goals.

My 15 step processensures you a job done to your specifications, on time and on budget!

My approach is flexible and
responsive. I work with some clients who know exactly what they want and I help them achieve it. Others are less sure and I guide them through the design process, helping them to formulate their own aesthetic as we go.

Choosing the perfect palette for your home décor can be intimidating. I'll make the process easy and fun!

Up-cycling and repurposing
Magpies are treasure huntersand so am I.  I love to find a

special item, weather it be a natural element  or an antiquity or fleamarket find, to incorporate into your design.

I'm not a feng shui expert, but I know how to design a room that maximizes and compliments your living space.  I consider flow of the room, design that's pleasant to the eye and functionality in every design.

Office and Corporate Design
Much of my experience comes from my days as a contract designer and salesperson.  I am familiar with Herman Miller, Steelcase, Hayworth, Knoll and Kimball furniture lines to name a few.

My largest projects include; Office Design for the original Bryce Jordan Center, parts of Pattee Library and many smaller departmental offices at Penn State University.
